The Who is made up of the 'fantastic four' ; Roger Daltry, Keith Moon, John Entwistle, Pete Townshend. These four started up in the 1960's where they were called The Detours. In 1964 they discovered a band with the same name and changed to The Who. This new band was made up of the lead singer; Roger Daltry; lead guitarist; Pete Townshand ; base guitarist; John Entwistle and lead drummer; Keith Moon. These four became very popular in 1965 where they first hit London. England was taken by storm and soon The Who was the most famous band in Britain. They had many hits together during the 70's and became most famous in the year 1974.
